Hello all,
I am new today to this forum. I just came across it online. I oversee Peerless Trailers. I am looking for someone who can provide us with Peerless trailer models for our trade shows and other Sales and Marketing purposes. I would prefer the current model line up of our product (so scratch builds would be required). Not sure what scale would work best, but more than likely the scale that our current Peerless Pole trailer comes in.
If you are interested, please drop me a line.
Thank you

Andy, Welcome to the Forum. What scale would you like the trailers to be in? And how many units are we talking about? Will you be supplying shop drawings in scale to assist the builder?
I will try to contact several people that I know that might be interested in doing this.
Be Well Gator

Andy,
Welcome to the Forum, but I don't think this is the sort of modeling you are looking for. Most of the guys here, although extremely talented, build single models from plastic, resin, brass, etc. It seems like you are looking for die-cast replicas to give to customers at trade shows. Is that correct?

Hi guys,
We licensed ROund2Models AMT to manufacture the Peerless logging trailer Road Runner kit at 1/25th scale a few years back, and it has been quite popular again to some collectors.
1) I would like to have someone who could assemble these for us painted and on a Kenworth T800 truck, as realistic as possible for trade shows, and to give out to customers.
2) I would also like to know if it would be possible for some of the builders to put together a plastic kit that would represent our current model line up (as can be seen on our web site at: www.peerless.ca/trailers/category/forestry.php). We had someone in Germany build us a larger scale B-Train model a few years back for one of our customers and it turned out amazingly accurate, but it was a prototype, painstakingly built from scratch. Specifically I would like the quad short logger if possible. I can provide drawings, photos and other information to the builder.
I am open to ideas from the builders, and would consider other materials and scales, it is just that it should fit up on a scale model truck when completed.
Thanks again

Andy, Although we have a lot of very talented modelers here, might I suggest that you check out The Timber Industry Modelers ( thetimbershop.proboards.com/ ). That is a board dedicated to modeling the lumber & timber industry. Some of the modelers over here are also over there; but there are some exceptional modelers over there tht are not over here. There are a couple of Canadians that come to mind. Good luck in you search.
